Real Madrid reach verbal agreement with Bayern’s Davies
Real Madrid have reached a verbal agreement with Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies, per The Athletic.

Madrid a done deal
The Athletic reported that Real Madrid will acquire the 23-year-old either this summer or when his contract expires in 2025.
The Canadian international has long expressed his interest in becoming a Madridista.
However, the La Liga club has not reached out to negotiate a transfer deal with Bayern Munich.
While Real Madrid seek a “below-market deal” for Davies, the Bundesliga club does not want him to lose for free.
Davies joined Bayern from MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps in January 2019.
He helped the club win five Bundesliga titles, two DFB-Pokals, and a 2020 Champions League title.
Overall, Davies has scored one goal and added three assists in all competitions for Bayern this season.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are pushing for a high-profile signing with Kylian Mbappe, who is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
