In case you miss it, here is the first patch of La Liga new and confirmed kits for the new season of 2023/24.

Bartra return to Real Betis

The former Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona centre-back signed for the La Liga side for free after terminating his contract with Turkish Trabzonspor.

Bartra’s contract is one year, and the club must bring back an experienced defender to Benito Villamarin. Betis have been looking for reinforcements with Edgar Gonzalez, Victor Ruiz, and latest, Sergio Canales departed.

Luiz Felipe, German Pezzella, and Bartra will be a solid wall for Betis next season.

Bartra came from the famous La Masia and was part of the Catalan side Barcelona won the historic treble in the 2014/15 season.

Bartra joins for a seventh year in the last eight, having initially signed on in 2016.

Last season could have been better for Bartra, who never felt comfortable in Turkey despite 40 games played and four goals scored.

With Betis, Bartra played 146 games in his first spell at the Seville club, making them the Primera team that has played for the most times — even more than Barça.

There will be one more signing for Betis, with Barcelona’s Chadi Riad expected to arrive imminently too. This deal also comes after Sergio Canales’ exit was confirmed, which will free up some funds for Los Verdiblancos, with Bartra even attending his farewell event.

Real Betis’ pre-season schedule will include a training camp in the United States and Mexico to prepare for the 2023/2024 campaign. Los Verdiblancos can have Bartra in the squad for the final preparations for the new season.
