Mallorca vs Barcelona – Preview and Prediction
Barcelona take on Mallorca as the Blaugranas are back in action only a few days after their stunning late comeback against Celta Vigo last weekend.
Xavi’s side is now sitting atop the La Liga table, thanks to Real Madrid’s defeat in the Madrid derby by rivals Atletico Madrid (Atletico 3-1 Real Madrid).

The league champions travel to Mallorca having fought back from 2-0 down in the final ten minutes to win 3-2 on Saturday.
Rafa Benitez’s side was ruthless and efficient on the counter, and they could have ended Barca’s undefeated run.
However, Barca proved that they could create a late and sensational comeback. Robert Lewandowski pulled one back with ten minutes remaining before drawing the hosts level four minutes later.
The crowds went wild when Joao Cancelo won it in the 89th minute.
Saturday’s victory means La Blaugrana sit on top of La Liga after six games.

While there are no significant absences from the host, Barca will march to Son Moix without their maestro, Frenkie de Jong.
The Dutch midfielder is expected to be sidelined until November with an ankle injury, and to make it worse; he may miss the El Clasico in October.
De Jong joins Pedri on the sidelines, although the Spaniard edges closer to his return.
Ronald Araujo could make his first start since the season opener after earning minutes off the bench on Saturday, while Gavi and Alejandro Balde are sure bets to return to Xavi’s starting XI.

Mallorca vs Barcelona: Prediction
Barca will look to extend the remarkable run while they are full of stamina after a brilliant comeback.
Mallorca will likely pose a different threat in transition than Celta did. They don’t have the profiles in attack to reliably trouble the visitors.
Barcelona are coming for three points, and they will not miss it.
