While the first and second place seems unchanged, the battle for a top-four spots looks lit.

Real Sociedad, Real Betis and Villarreal all secured crucial wins in Sunday’s action.

La Real are in pole position to claim a top four slot, thanks to Takefusa Kubo who broke the deadlock against bottom-side Elche, before Ander Barrenetxea sealed a win in the closing stages.

At the other side of the standings, Sevilla suffered a setback in their attempts to avoid being dragged into a relegation scraps, when Jorge Sampaoli‘s side lost 2-0 at Getafe.
