Kepa is no stranger to Spanish top-flight La Liga as he is former Athletic Bilbao shot-stopper who came from the club’s youth academy before his debut in 2014.

The 28-year-old then went on to feature for Bilbao and Real Valladolid (on loan) before English giants Chelsea secured his signature for a record fee of 80m euro in 2018.

Kepa will be the starter for Madrid until the end of the season, with no option to buy from the loan deal.
