Felix, who is only on loan at Barcelona, scored the opening goal against Atletico en route to a 3-0 victory.

With the win, Barcelona now holds the second spot in the LaLiga table with 64 points.

During the game, Atletico supporters showed disdain towards Felix by burning a shirt with his name printed on the back.

“The fans here watching the game don’t know what happens internally,” Felix said to ESPN after the match. “My [Atlético] teammates do know and, as you can see, I get on well with all of them.”

“I stopped to talk with Samuel Lino and [Thomas] Lemar, while everyone came to hug me, talk to me and ask me how my family is. I have nothing against them, and they have nothing against me.”

Felix, 24, joined Atletico for a club record €120 million from Benfica in 2019.

However, Felix spent the second half of last season on loan at Premier League side Chelsea.

He then joined Barca last summer on a season-long loan deal.

“At the end of the day, I am not the bad guy here, but I understand the supporters here perfectly because they don’t know everything.”

“I always enjoy these games against big teams, games when the fans provoke you a little more,” Félix added. “It was a good night, leaving one of most difficult grounds in world football with three points.
