Done deals you may have missed on Summer transfer window

It’s not August yet, but there have been a lot of done deals on summer transfer window. Some of the big names you may have missed.

1. Philippe Coutinho to Aston Villa

Fee: 20m euro

Philippe Coutinho is the name would walk easily in any list of worst Barcelona’s transfer of all time.

Joined in 2018 from Liverpool with 135m euro, he was the real hype at that time, with the hope of filling Andres Iniesta or Neymar’s places. But he left in disappointment, joined Bayern Munich and then Aston Villa, on loan perspectively. The Premier League’s side then activated the option to buy, signed Coutinho for only 20m euro.

He scored five, assisted three and won the Best of June for the Premier League’s side.

2. Ivan Perisic & Fraser Forster to Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur signed 2 free-agent Perisic and Forster

Fee: Free agent

After winning in most clubs he joined, the versatile winger Perisic decided to switch for Premier League’s challenge, with Tottenham Hotspur, few days after goalkeeper Fraser Forster joined the London club.

Perisic looked to reunite with his manager Antonio Cont, as the pair worked together at Inter Milan, where they won the league.

Their arrivals cast doubts from experts and fans, but we have to wait till the new season starts to see if Conte’s magic works this time.

3. Diego Carlos to Aston Villa

Fee: 31m euro

Villa means serious business, as they signed many big names with huge transfer fees. If Coutinho was the necessary attacking reinforcement, then Diego Carlos is the name for defense.

The Brazilian centre-back was the key element to Sevilla’s record Europa League’s victory in 2019/20.

4. Erling Haaland to Man City

Fee: 60m euro

It’s a ‘steal deal’ as Man City grabbed Haaland’s signing by paying his release clause from Dortmund, right under the noses of Real Madrid or Bayern Munich, Man United.

Haaland is already Man City’s player

The strong centre-forward is the future, as he has already proven his abilities by scoring 40+ goals in each of his last 3 seasons.

5. Antonio Rudiger to Real Madrid

Real Madrid is not joking around, after their history’s double-winning season with 35th La Liga’s trophy and 14th Champions League’s crown.

Rudiger is a real fighter, he’s tall, fierce and fearless, with the undisputed mentality, and most of all, he joined Los Blancos as free-agent.
