Barcelona and Xavi have reached an agreement to renew the contract of the Spaniard until 2026.
The Blaugranas’ coach’s current contract will expire next year, but the La Liga reigning champions ensure their boss stays for at least another three years.

Barca renew Xavi’s contract
The Barca great took over the reign as head coach in 2021 and signed a three-season deal, which now enters the final year.
Since Xavi took charge, the Catalan side have transformed remarkably, and the results were proven with the La Liga title in the 2022/23 season.
Blaugranas won the Spanish top flight convincingly as they finished 10 points clear of rivals Real Madrid.
Xavi and co have started the defending champion season brilliantly, having been undefeated in four first league games (3W 1D).
It’s vital that Barca will keep their boss for long, and a contract until 2026 is imminent.
The coach’s new deal will likely be announced soon as the season takes a temporary break for international games.
He will work with members of his squad over the international period before his team returns to La Liga action with a game against Real Betis on September 16.
