The hosts find themselves smack dab in the relegation zone with just ten points after 12 matches. Two wins this weekend and next midweek can potentially spring them out of the danger area.
Meanwhile, La Real are in the middle of a battle for third place, a single point behind Real Betis and Atlético de Madrid. That is the highest position they can garner as frontrunners Real Madrid and Barcelona are well ahead of the pack.
Before the two clash, Sevilla will go up against Betis, while Real Sociedad will host Valencia.
