Yoro wants Real Madrid

Yoro, 18, informed Lille that he wants to join Madrid amid interests from other European clubs.

Premier League’s Manchester United and Chelsea, as well as France Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain, have inquired about his services.

However, the French youngster faces pressure from Lille boss to renew his contract, which will expire this summer.

Marca reported that Lille set the player’s asking price at around €100m, but Real Madrid are aiming for a transfer fee of between 30 and 40 million.

Yoro’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has an excellent relationship with PSG’s sporting director Luis Campos.

On the other hand, reports stated that Mendes’ relationship with Real Madrid has deteriorated.

Still, that would not hamper Real Madrid’s pursuit of Yoro.

However, Los Blancos are focused on the arrival of PSG star Kylian Mbappe and Bayern Munich centre-back Alphonso Davies.

Still, Yoro would be a welcome addition for Madrid, who has employed young stars in their roster.

Those young prospects include Vinícius JúniorEduardo CamavingaRodrygo Goes, and Jude Bellingham.

Promising career

Yoro debuted with Lille in May 2022 at 16 years old, and he immediately cracked in the first team at just 18.

The young defender has started 24 out of Lille’s 26 Ligue 1 matches.

He has netted three goals in 51 appearances with the French club across all competitions.
