Real Madrid announced Jude Bellingham as the La Liga top flight officially secured the English midfielder after having reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund.

The young star will be a record deal for a British player to join Madrid.

The club’s website wrote:
“Real Madrid C. F. and Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Jude Bellingham, who will be contracted to our club for the next six seasons.
The player will be unveiled as a new Real Madrid player tomorrow, Thursday 15 June, at 12:00 noon at Real Madrid City.”

According to Sky Sports, Los Blancos will pay an initial £88.5m for the now-former Dortmund, but the deal could rise to £115m, including add-ons, a record for a British player.
He spent the last three years at Dortmund and was their best player last season; next up, he will be contracted for six years with the Spanish giants.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti praised how good Bellingham is as he is ranked among the best young midfielders in the world.
“Bellingham is one of them,” the Italian said. “But I’ll stick with my midfielders, who are very good, especially the youngsters.”
He is the second signing announced within a week by the capital club.
Earlier last week, Spanish full-back Fran Garcia returned to Los Blancos after three seasons at Rayo Vallecano and has put pen to paper on a contract until June 2027.
This Summer so far, Madrid have parted ways with multiple stars like Eden Hazard, Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, and Mariano Diaz, which save them €75m in wages.
