El Clásico Journey treats Indonesian football fans from Jakarta to Bali
La Liga and their regional partner M88 Mansion went around major cities in Indonesia for El Clásico Journey, a series of events and projects to hype the March 21 clash of rivals FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The capital served as the starting point in what was dubbed as Different Stop to do LaLiga Trivia Quiz. A scavenger hunt-type challenge tested not just the navigation skills of the participants but also their knowledge of FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, El Clásico, La Liga, and Spanish football in general.
The contestants made stops in Cikampek, Semarang, Ungaran, and Yogyakarta to complete their tasks. They were rewarded with M88 Mansion and La Liga goodies such as shirts, mugs, caps, and other items.
Over in Yogyakarta, a mini-tournament was held between fans of the two powerhouse Spanish clubs. Real Madrid Team A won against Barcelona Team B, 2-0, to become champions of the four-team competition. Local football influencers and players led the amazing match, adding prestige to what was a casual sport gathering.
Finally, El Clásico Journey culminated in a viewing party of the match held in Bali in the early morning of March 21. There were a variety of games and activities to entertain attendees while they wait for the kickoff. Prizes handed out to winners include shirts, face masks, tumblers, bags, and more.
El Clásico Journey is more than just football
This project, which was organized in coordination with The Footballicious, did not just build a bridge between LaLiga and its Indonesian supporters. It was also a way to help local tourism in a post-pandemic world.
Everyone was reminded of the different sights and delicacies of every destination included in the tour. Every location was different: the bustle of Jakarta, the culture of Yogyakarta, and the spectacle of Bali.
