Real Madrid summer signing Arda Guler is in line for his La Liga debut this weekend, as Los Blancos will travel to Sevilla when the club’s football resumes in action.

While wonder kid Jude Bellingham, who is among Madrid’s reinforcements this summer, with Joselu and Kepa Arrizabalaga, have both made crucial contributions to the team, Guler suffered from a muscle blow and has yet to have his first game for the club.

Guler joined the Spanish first-tier from Fenerbahce for €20m this summer but has been laid low by a meniscus issue which required surgery in July. However, Madrid fans may be about to get their first glimpse at the club’s fifth summer signing.

According to Madrid-based outlet AS the 18-year-old could be in line for his debut against Sevilla.

The latest updates from the club showed that the Turkish wonder boy has joined the group training and is physically fit.

He will be on the flight to Seville with the team if there is no relapse.

Guler is just 18 and has only trained with Real Madrid, but has already created a reputation for himself, with Carlo Ancelotti full of praise for him.

While he is a raw talent at this stage, there is a confident expectation that Guler can provide something different to Real Madrid’s attack as a left-sided creative presence with excellent vision.
