Yellows signed Sorloth
Since Nicolas Jackson joined Chelsea, Villarreal have been seeking a worthy replacement, and they found it with Real Sociedad’s top striker Alexander Sorloth.
Sorloth has spent the last two seasons on loan at Real Sociedad and has been snapped up on a bargain € 10 million deal from RB Leipzig.
While the Yellows have been busy negotiating for a striker, it’s still stunning for their fans to see such a quality goalscorer join the club.
The 27-year-old’s arrival is a signing few saw coming, and it’s a bargain deal for the Yellows, who need to catch up quickly on the incoming front.
The Norway International scored 16 goals in 67 league appearances for La Real, but he is more of a disruptive striker than an out-and-out goalscorer.

The Yellow’s coach Quique Setièn still needs a center-back or two and a goalkeeper as a minimum, with the season now just over two weeks away.
Their hero Pau Torres has followed Unai Emery to Aston Villa, bringing a lifelong association with the club to an end.
Samu Chukwueze is being linked with an exit, probably to AC Milan – although his departure does look more unlikely by the day – and Arnaut Danjuma is expected to leave by the time the season rolls around.
At some point, Villarreal will have to be bold in the transfer window, albeit they have managed to sign some talented players on free deals this summer.
