Los Blancos suffered a 2-1 defeat to Barcelona before the international break, which has seen them fall 12 points behind Xavi’s side at the current standing.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side will now be looking to return to winning ways in the league, and it must start with the clash against 16th place Real Valladolid. As for the visitors, defender Javi Sanchez is banned for the match, while all Selim Amallah, Jordi Masip, and Anuar remain sidelines for injuries.
